The supervisor is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the rooms with emphasis on the areas of five-diamond guest service and team member relations. The supervisor will ensure all rooms are ready for arrival. The supervisor will assist in managing the day-to-day operation of the department including - training, guest resolution, coaching and discipline, room assignments, and any additional duty as requested.

Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure all policies and procedures, including Osha and Health Department Guidelines, are being followed
• Provide guidance and motivation to achieve optimal performance
• Responsible for re-training team members on cleanliness concerns
• Resolves guest complaints and ensures guest satisfaction
• Completes reports and projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager
• Works closely with other departments such as Front Desk, PBX, Reservations, and VIP Services
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
• Responsible for the day-to-day of their assigned floors
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the rooms
• Ensure that all rooms are cleaned for arrival

Housekeeping Manager candidates will possess:

• The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of Housekeeping Management experience in a 24/7 high-occupancy resort
• Knowledge of AAA and Forbes Standards.
• Passion for Guest Service, eye for creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
• Computer proficient
• Ability to manage hotel inventory
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
