Full Job Description

Patient's Choice Lab seeking a full time Courier/Medical Courier to join our team in the Metro Phoenix Area. In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens and lab supplies while providing excellent service to our clients and staff.

This position uses an automatic transmission company vehicle to use for the route and a company gas card.

Work Schedule:

Monday- Saturday shift. Monday - Friday hours 12 PM - 10 PM. Saturday afternoons required.

Location: 2501 E Southern Ave Suite 12 Tempe, AZ 85282

Full Time Position Only. No Part Time Positions.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily picks to main hub at the end of your shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner
• Handle all specimens following temperature requirements
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Work directly with the lab for additional pick-ups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed
• Communicate clearly with the lab

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum age requirement of 18.
• Must be a high school graduate, or have achieved equivalency through the GED exam.
• Good organizational skills are also required.
• Must possess a valid State driver's license
• Must be an insured driver
• Clean driving record
• Able to life up to 30 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
