Position at Raystown Developmental Services, LLC

About your Role:

Asa Parent Educator you will work with children, youth, and families across Juniata County in conjunction with Children & Youth Services. You will initiate contact with individual parent within five days of referral. Conduct approved assessment tools and develop individualized lesson plans based on Nurturing Parenting Evidence-Based Curriculum, for each parent within first 30 days of service. Observe interactions between parents and children, when possible, based on supervisor and referral source recommendations and maintain adequate program materials required for each parent. Prepare and complete required documentation; including case notes, in compliance with regulations and company standards while also being available and prepared to provide court testimony in a professional manner as needed and scheduled.

Perks of this role:

  • Schedule is typically 8am to 4:30pm, M-F (is dependent on the families’ needs)
  • $750 sign-on bonus- paid out: $250 after 90 days | $500 after 180 days
  • Competitive pay rate -$17.00-$18.50/hour

Does the following apply to you?

  • High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with 3 years’ experience/training in working with children and/or families
  • A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s license with good driving record
