3.1 Residential Technician:
Part-Time 1st shift; Every other weekend - 8:00am - 4:00pm

Founded in 1967 to serve clients solely in Black Hawk County, Pathways has expanded in the years since to offer comprehensive substance use, mental health, and problem gambling treatment and prevention services to people in six northeast Iowa counties – Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Chickasaw, Grundy, and Black Hawk. Our staff includes counselors, nurses, technicians, community educators, wellness coaches, receptionists, billers, BHIS workers, peer support specialists, care navigators, and more. Pathways is CARF-accredited and a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. *Duties include monitoring, observing, assisting and supervising residents in a chemical dependency residential inpatient unit.
*Knowledge of chemical dependency and self-help support groups preferred.
*Minimum of GED required
*Valid Driver License required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.90 - $17.55 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 19 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Rotating weekends
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)

Our mental health center clinical staff includes: - Psychiatrists - Nurse practitioners - Clinical social workers - Mental health counselors Our mental health counselors provide a wide range of mental health services, including individual, family and marital counseling; school-based programming; medication management; and 24-hour emergency service.
