Direct Support Professional

Must be available to work M,W 3:30pm to 8:30pm and Friday 12pm to 7pm and be a licensed and insured driver with a safe and reliable vehicle. Please do not apply otherwise as your application will not be considered.

Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Create a safe and supportive environment for individuals in their homes and in the community
- Implement individualized care plans and follow specific instructions from healthcare professionals
- Engage individuals in social and recreational activities to promote independence and well-being
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status to the appropriate supervisor

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning and maintaining a clean living environment
- Experience in hospice care, childcare, dementia care, senior care, or assisted living is a plus
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response systems
