At Pathlight, as the Assistant Director of Nursing, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing and delivering nursing services to individuals with complex medical, behavioral, and developmental disabilities in small residential group home settings. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act, as well as providing training to enhance program efficiency. Supervision of over 10 Nurses. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to step in as the primary backup for the Vice President of Nursing, showcasing your leadership skills and dedication to the team.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

To excel as our Assistant Director of Nursing at Pathlight, you'll need a solid foundation in nursing care, equivalent to a full four-year college education, along with a valid Massachusetts RN license. With over three years of progressive learning experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role, you'll be well-equipped to lead and support our team effectively. A valid MA driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for this position as traveling for site visits is an important part of the role. Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, will be beneficial in ensuring smooth operations.

While knowledge of DDS regulations and the Massachusetts HICIS system is preferred, your willingness to learn and adapt will also be highly valued in this role.
