SUMMARY OF POSITION: Perform a variety of home and/or community based direct care duties to support individuals with autism and to promote their dignity, safety, health, welfare, rights, development and social inclusion; provide transportation to individuals.

POSITION AVAILABILITY: Reliable support person needed in West Springfield area to assist a young man with autism in the areas of skill-building and community-based recreational activities, using a person-centered approach. Consistent attendance and good communication skills required. Must have experience working with people with autism

HOURLY RATE: $22.00

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be 18 years or older
2. Valid Massachusetts driver's license
3. Reliable transportation
4. High school diploma or GED

1. Two supervisory references.
2. Driving record and CORI and Fingerprint check
