Job Description

Path Utility Construction, INC, AT&T prime contractor, is looking for an experienced operator. We specialize in telecommunication construction. If you have not operated a directional bore machine around utility lines, this job is not for you. Please do not apply for this job without experience.

Principal Duties

Install remove or maintain underground utilities as directed, using a Vermeer or DW. Installing fiber optic lines. Load material or equipment for transport from office to job site and secure as appropriate. Secure work site, equipment and materials at the end of each shift to ensure public safety as well as the safety of equipment and materials. Communication via Procore and emails. Follow directions of supervisor for completion of work.

Requirements

• Valid US Drivers license, CDL (Class – A) preferred but not required and a good driving record.
• Must have prior work experience operating a directional bore machine around utility lines.
• Ability to travel out of town.
• On call duties.
• Work independently under minimal supervision
• Occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must lead, communicate, and work well with others.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures of OSHA, contractors, state, local and the company.
• Must perform good maintenance techniques and maintain the equipment/vehicle assigned to you in proper condition.
