As a Tooling Engineer (also known as Injection Mold Specialist, Plastic Tool Designer), you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, and replacing existing plastic injection molds, developing cost estimates, managing project schedules, and driving team members to completion. You'll also review mold repair requests, participate in commodity-level meetings, benchmark and technically evaluate production facilities, and resolve complex process issues.
