As an Equipment Technician (also known as Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Equipment Operator), you'll diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, perform preventive maintenance on engines and hydraulic systems, operate various mobile and stationary equipment, and adhere to safety standards. You'll also use computers to issue parts, update work orders, and utilize diagnostic programs.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred. Vocational School or previous Diesel Mechanic experience a plus.
• Minimum 3 years experience with basic knowledge of hydraulic systems, mechanical and electronic engines, mobile equipment, and vehicles.
• Must provide own tools and be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and routine tasks efficiently, correctly, and safely.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication skills required. Must read, speak and understand English language in verbal and written communication.
