Path Construction is Hiring a Construction estimator Near Arlington, IL

Path Construction seeks a qualified Estimator to join our organization in our Arlington Heights, IL office. We are a rapidly growing general contractor located in Arlington Heights, IL with additional offices in Scottsdale, AZ and Charlotte, NC with projects throughout the country.

The right candidate will have 5 years of construction estimating experience in multiple sectors including but not limited to : healthcare, residential, hospitality, retail, transportation, self-storage, senior living, water and waste treatment, convention centers, laboratories, correctional, and institutional.

Path is looking for people with great technical skills, good communication skills, and strong attention to detail.

Duties for an Estimator include

Estimating, quantity take-offs, preparing and managing bid packages, subcontractor / bid procurement, managing RFI during bid period, cost control, scheduling, subcontractor relations, P&L, maintaining and delivering a high level of quality and competitive bid analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Architecture
  • 3-5 years experience is required
  • Estimating experience is required
  • Self Perform experience is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Including Excel and Project)
  • Proficient in On-Screen Takeoff (Or Similiar)
  • Ability to work in a team
