Students will have an opportunity to pursue one of the following pathways starting in their sophomore year: Engineering, Sustainability Studies, Computer Science and Information Technology, and Medical and Dental Arts.

School staff will also work collaboratively across departments and with community, industry, and higher education partners to design and implement high quality course content and ancillary programs. We are seeking teachers who have a passion for systems thinking, interdisciplinary, project-based learning and a strong commitment to ensuring that all students have access to a caring, supportive school community and high quality instruction.

Familiarity with restorative justice practices, culturally relevant pedagogy and the SAMR model for technology integration. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.     • Collaborate with colleagues to write unit plans, write interim assessments, share teaching strategies, visit peer classrooms, analyze student data, and develop best practice pedagogy that supports literacy and critical thinking skills across all subject areas;
    • Work in a start-up organization with a focus on individualized student learning, problem-based learning and the utilization of a backwards planning design model, as outlined by Wiggins and McTighe;
    • Incorporate literacy & computational thinking strategies into daily routines and classroom instruction;
    • Incorporate technology into daily routines and classroom instruction consistent with higher levels of the SAMR model;
    • Apply data gathered through formative and summative assessments to guide the instructional plan;

    • Create a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school’s core values.
    Salary: As Per Negotiated Contract
    Initiator: Sarah Sterling-Laldee, Director
