Staff Needed: One (1) ESL Teacher
Qualifications:
- Hold a New Jersey English as a Second Language Teacher Certification or Certificate of Eligibility
- Must be knowledgeable of NJSLS, WIDA and mandated state testing
- Excellent experience teaching and working with various grade level students
- Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of teaching English as a second language, child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis and research related to learning and children needing to learn English as a second language
- Exhibit a personality that displays interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff administration, parents, and the community
- Demonstrate the ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, digital technology to augment authentic learning, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effecitvely in English, both orally and in writing. Use proper grammar and vocabulary with students, staff, administration, and the community
- Successful implementation of instructional strategies
- Must be computer literate
- Highly motivated result-driven educator
