- Hold a New Jersey instructional certificate in accordance with the requirements ofNJ.S.A. 18A:27.1 et seq., and NJ.A.C. Title 6 Chapter I I with appropriate subject area endorsement(s) for the position held (NJ.A.C.6: I 1-6.1, 6.2, or 8. I et seq.).
- Experience working with High School Students with various ability levels
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team
- Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of students
- Must understand digital and print publishing industries career paths
- Must be well versed in digital and print promotional displays and marketing advertisements
- Must be well versed in the plan and design visual creations
- Have excellent experience in teaching and working with adolescents
- Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
- Maintain records indicating progress of the student and assist with evaluation and assessment of students.
- Communicate regularly with the parents to nurture a supportive and cooperative relationship between home and school.
- Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators, and the community
- Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
- Pending budget availability
