PATCH is seeking an individual to be responsible for instructing training classes as scheduled by PATCH.
Essential Duties:
Working Conditions:
Usually indoors, in a classroom setting.
Work Hours:
On-call schedule with varying work hours, which may include nights and weekends.
Equipment Use:
May occasionally use flip charts, video projector, television, computer, laptop, and DVD player.
Mental, Physical and Communication Demands:
Requires relating to people in a friendly and professional manner with excellent verbal communication skills. Requires working to established procedures and the ability to be prompt and on time. Requires working under minimal supervision. The employee is regularly required to stand and must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
Must possess a valid Hawaii driver's license and clean driving record with access to an insured vehicle. The employee is required to use their personal vehicle and must be willing to ravel to various locations for training.
May be required to travel to neighbor islands or to the mainland as deemed necessary.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Minimum three (3) years of experience providing training to adults who work with children.
Minimum 12 credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development
Associate Degree from an accredited college in ECE or related field AND at least 10 year ECE experience OR Bachelor Degree or higher from an accredited college in ECE or related AND at least three (3) years ECE experience.
