Position: Custom Specialist

Candidate is expected to:

• Operate sewing and embroidery machines safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Uphold company safety policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Required Experience:

• Proficiency in operating home/commercial sewing machines, Consew 29, and serger machines.
• Experience with commercial embroidery machines.
• Knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction methods.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Photoshop software and Wilcom Digital Edition (Edition 3 and up).
• Previous experience with garment hooping and sewing onto various items.
• Customer service experience.

Candidate will be tested on the following after an initial interview:

• Application of square, circle and die cut (complex) patches
• Straight stitch and zig zag on multilayer materials
• Sew onto a jacket sleeve
• Apply lettering to a jersey or shirt.
• Hooping various items including hat and shirt.
• Photoshop and Wilcom

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
