Passion Vines Wine and Spirit Company is looking for an inspiring Leader/Manager with passion for our people and product to join our Team as an Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Assist in the purchasing of product for the store
• Ensure product is received, checked in, and posted into the system properly
• Lead the Team in maintaining an organized and orderly inventory and back stock
• Assist in managing inventory and ensure overall accuracy

Merchandising

• Take the lead on creating displays of new and existing product
• Work with reps on special/holiday displays to ensure brand alignment
• Rework shelves and floor stacks as needed

Team Leadership

• Assist in training new Team Members and provide ongoing education/support
• Support the management of all store operations and delegate responsibilities to the Team
• When Store Manager is not present, lead Team Members in daily “Huddle” meetings to review important updates, announcements, procedures, etc.
• Listen to and act on (or communicate to store manager) Team Member complaints, comments, and suggestions

Customer Service

• Maintain a culture of high-level customer care; assist in the execution of customer needs including Special Requests, local van deliveries etc.
• Continually strive to provide a superior experience for all customers
• Handle customer communication, complaints, and queries in a professional manner

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years as a successful retail assistant/shift manager
• 2 years in a liquor store environment OR strong knowledge of beer, wine and spirits through food and beverage experience
• Experience as a key holder
• Proven ability to quickly understand and skillfully use a POS system
• Strong organizational skills
• Clear and concise communication skills
