Our Southern Arizona wine tasting rooms are looking for a Tasting Room Sales Associate to add to our team. Candidates must available Nights and Weekends and all Holidays. Also must be dependable, reliable, charismatic, courteous & pleasant, energetic, self-motivated, and professional. The position involves serving and selling wine, educating guests about wine, winemaking, and the local wine industry. All candidates must be computer and phone literate and have the ability to perform physical duties (tidying up the tasting room, lifting cases of wine, standing long periods). Will be asked to work alone and in a team environment, must be able to work with varying personalities. All candidates must be able to work weekends and Holidays. Hourly pay listed is an estimate. A base hourly is offered plus commission and tips.

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be 21
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to sell wine and wine clubs.
• Knowledge of local food and wine industry
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Maintain cleanliness of tasting room

Position Details:

• Cash register operations, good computer skills and attention to detail
• Some knowledge of wines required
• Assist in preparing wine club shipments
• Tasting room housekeeping
• Available to work weekends, holidays and special events
• Excellent communication skills in person, via phone and email
• Friendly outgoing personality
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
