Passero Associates has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architect/Regional Director in our Charlotte, NC office. The selected candidate will work and lead a diverse range of planning-design-construction projects focused on institutional, commercial, municipal, aviation and multi-family residential development.

Director Position Responsibilities:

• This Senior-level position will involve direct contact, continuous communication and support from Passero’s Board of Directors.
• Pursue new work, supporting numerous business development initiatives.
• Establish and assign project proposals, fees, staffing and scheduling.
• Responsible for project delivery, production, oversight and quality control / assurance.
• Address client input, needed revisions and coordination efforts throughout the duration of each project.
• Responsible for staff utilization, billing, invoicing, progress reporting and revenue projections of all work products.
• Engage staff within their projects and maintain utilization of all staff members.
• Provide support for internal production staff and other, related senior staff supporting local projects.
• Communicate on a regular basis with local, regional, and related executive team members within Passero.
• Travel to meet with clients/consultants/approving/funding agencies.
• Manage the physical office needs for space, production and technology.
• Responsible for mentoring staff members.
• Establish and maintain high quality standards and related office-wide production expectations.
• Set and maintain expectations for standard work week, working hours and individual accountability.

Qualifications/ Experience:

• Registered Architect (RA), Licensed Engineer, experienced construction management professional or planner
• 8-10 years of experience
• Proven ability to administer and supervise project permitting and approval processes.
• Active client and subconsultant management
• Proven experience in developing, leading and mentoring a team of junior staff and emerging professionals.
• Effective communication and technical writing skills 
• Valid driver’s license; personal vehicle 

Salary - Discretionary bonuses with a minimum base salary of $150,000 annually to commensurate with experience and ability.
