Passamano Orthodontics is Hiring an Orthodontic Scheduling Coordinator - Part-Time Near Irvine, CA

Passamano Orthodontics in Irvine is seeking a part-time Scheduling Coordinator to join our Smile Squad!!

Our ideal candidate would love people, be enthusiastic and team oriented. This role requires good communication skills, an excellent work ethic and the ability to multitask efficiently. We are a patient centered practice and strive to be the best part of each patient’s day. Position is for 2-days a week in front working Tuesday and Thursday. Our ideal candidate MUST have a friendly demeanor and the desire to help us achieve that goal.

Requirements:

  • First and foremost, quality customer service! We want someone that genuinely enjoys interacting with our patients and their families.
  • 1 years front dental or medical experience required but will train the right individual if they have experience in back dental practice workflow.
  • Must be willing to cross-train and back up treatment planning as needed.
  • Ability to keep your personal work area, the front desk and lobby area clean, organized and clutter free.
  • Experience with heavy phone volume along with excellent computer and typing skills.
  • Knowledge of Cloud9 a plus but willing to train.
  • Past verifiable references and steady long-term employment history are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written English required.
  • Must be able to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
  • Must be able to participate with team outings and value your coworkers.
  • Must be able to work independently and with a team.
  • Personality traits must include the following: outgoing, caring, always thinking of others, be able to have patients feel a smile over the phone and while assisting in back.
  • Must have strong people skills and the ability to provide concierge customer service to our patients. Communication with our patients is extremely important. Because of this, we’d prefer someone that is a people person.
  • Must possess exceptional work ethics, be independent, confident, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Hard working, and enthusiastic about learning.

Hourly Pay: $22-$26/hr. (Hourly pay is based on prior dental practice experience and the level of needed training)

Benefits: 5 paid holidays, 1 week sick pay, and 1 week vacation

Clinical Hours: (2 Days / Week)

  • Tuesday 7:30am-4:30pm (Front office)
  • Thursday 8am-5pm (Front office)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
