Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction. MUST BE CERTIFIED w/ dental xray license.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Schedule patient appointments
- Perform office tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance processing

Qualifications:

- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- Knowledge of medical documentation and terminology
- Proficiency in infection control protocols
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Experience with dental receptionist duties is a plus
- Basic anatomy knowledge for dental procedures
- Familiarity with Dentrix system is a plus

-Must have a Dental Xray license

Hours are Monday - Friday 9-5, and occasional Saturdays.

Salary: Based on experience

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Pay: $100.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
