Passaic County Community College is Hiring a Mathematics Tutor (PT) Near Paterson, NJ

The math tutoring lab seeks a math tutor to tutor students in developmental and college-level math courses. Specialization in Statistics, Pre-Calculus, Calculus. This is a part-time, hourly position.

Job Description:

As a Part-Time Tutor specializing in Statistics, Pre-Calculus, and calculus, your expertise will be invaluable to students seeking support in these challenging mathematical areas. Your role involves providing one-on-one guidance, simplifying concepts, and facilitating effective problem-solving to foster a deeper understanding.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Statistics, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Availability for part-time hours as per the tutoring schedule.

The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
