A global automotive parts manufacturer seeks a Sales & Marketing Manager to develop sales for existing customers and generate new markets in the industry. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of management experience and a proven track record of developing new businesses, preferably in the Big 3.

• Maintain relationships with current clients and acquire new ones from the Big 3 companies and other potential customers.
• Build solid relationships with accounts, decision-makers, influencers, and users.
• Develop sustainable and profitable growth, and deliver new business.
• Develop sales targets and market share goals annually to meet and exceed the established objectives.
• Analyzes, verifies, and communicates key financial data daily. Prepares customer quotations and P&L while reviewing with management for accuracy.
• Manages, directs, and supports various team organizations for each to perform effectively.
• Reviews and communicates data for various RFQs to promote accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends, technical developments, and competitive activity that affect current and future markets utilizing trade publications along with regional trade shows applicable to markets we serve
• Negotiate with the company on the product’s price, new product development, etc., to ensure the best possible customer relations and pricing.
• Engage in strategic discussions and negotiations with top-tier customer representatives, building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Manage and solve conflicts with clients promptly and professionally

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business and engineering, or related field
• 10 years of sales or business development experience in the automotive industry, preferably to Ford, GM, Stellantis, and Tesla.
• Must have direct experience with automotive parts' manufacturing companies.
• knowledge of the APQP process; Able to effectively lead / support the entire new model process
• MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
• Ability to travel including overnight stays.
