POSITION DETAILS:

This CNA will work with one male client in Thornton, CO 80233 6-7 hours each week on Saturdays and Sundays. Client is nonverbal but very sweet. Client lives at home with his mother who will help direct care. As a CNA you will be asked to provide skilled care services including, but not limited to: activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing/showering, toileting, hygiene, meal prep and feedings, transfers, oxygen equipment maintenance, skincare and range of motion exercises - just to name a few. PASCO CNAs have the opportunity to work with the same client(s) over time thus building a 1:1 relationship with your client(s).

POSITION INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS:

• Current and unencumbered CNA (Certified Nursing Assistance) licensure in Colorado (DORA to certify)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current auto insurance
• Prior home health experience (highly preferred)
• Working knowledge and experience of working within the disabled community

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.
• Stamina to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Mobility to bend, stoop, kneel, twist at hips assist with transfers.
• Visual and auditory acuity to assess clients needs and respond promptly.
• Manual dexterity to perform tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal care.

COMPENSATION: $21 per hour (weekly paychecks)

SCHEDULE & LOCATION: Every Saturday and Sunday. About 7 hours/week at client's home in Thornton, CO 80233.

Schedule below:

• Every other Saturday morning 8:30am-9:30am
• Every Saturday lunch visit 1pm-2pm
• Every Saturday bedtime 6pm-7:30pm

and

• Every Sunday 8:30am-9:30am
• Every Sunday 1pm-2pm
• Every Sunday 6pm-7:30pm
