JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for performing highly diversified craft trade activities with a focus on

water & sewer under general supervision.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in various aspects of water and sewer utilities maintenance; pipefitting, repair and service of backflow preventer devices and irrigation well systems;
• working electrical knowledge in installation, repairing and troubleshooting lift station and well motor / pump control circuitry;

all phases of installation, repair and service at DEP permitted water and wastewater treatment facilities; grounds work of SWFWMD permitted storm water systems and other District wide sites as requested.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• Two years’ experience of a skilled trade or general building maintenance
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

• Valid Florida driver license
• Must maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the
