Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, from case inception to trial preparation.

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents with the court, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring compliance with filing deadlines and local court rules etc.

- Prepare for and assist with depositions, hearings, trials, and other court proceedings.

- Communication with opposing counsel or other relevant parties, and court personnel

- Organize and maintain case files and documents, ensuring all relevant documents, evidence, and correspondence are properly filed and maintained.

- Manage attorney calendars, scheduling meetings, court appearances, and other legal proceedings.

- Track case progress, deadlines, and important details

- Perform legal research and gather relevant case information as needed

- Handle billing tasks, including generating invoices and tracking payments

Qualifications:
- Familiarity with litigation processes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal department is required

-Bilingual in Mandarin and English is an advantage, but not required.

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
