Partnership With Native Americans is Hiring a Director Digital Fundraising and Design Near Addison, TX

Overview of Responsibilities:

The Director of Digital Fundraising and Design manages and oversees branding, the design of printed collateral and advertising, as well as the growth of online fundraising and engagement programs by executing effective strategies and techniques via email, website promotions, other digital channels, and direct mail. The Director will provide coordinated leadership of digital fundraising and engagement activities, developing and implementing marketing strategies to support fundraising across the organization.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions·

  • Designs, creates, implements, and oversees digital marketing to leverage key digital platforms for the enhancement and growth of donor revenue.
  • Develops and implements roll-out of new digital innovation and engagement strategies on online and mobile channels.·
  • Research marketing and digital engagement trends to align PWNA’s mission with stakeholders who will participate in digital direct fundraising opportunities.
  • Employs the latest technologies and innovations to drive acquisition, retention and advocacy among donors and prospects.
  • Develops digital interaction, online response campaigns and data collection to expand and improve donor traffic.
  • Researches and develops digital strategies to optimize the PWNA’s website fundraising capabilities.
  • Maximizes Search Engine Optimization opportunities to increase digital footprint in donor interaction and engagement, while managing the Google Ad Words Grant.
  • Analyzes alternatives and makes recommendations for integrating digital platforms to effectively and efficiently grow revenue.
  • Partner across the organization to create more opportunities for sustained giving programs, CFC, and other online giving platforms that create a value exchange to increase donations.
  • Designs measures and reports to demonstrate accomplishments, identify areas for improvement, and track overall increases in revenue and attainment of goals.
  • Collects, analyzes and presents campaign data to evaluate and improve processes and establish sustainable models for predictive success.
  • Identify areas of need in our end-to-end constituent experience and be able to quantify opportunities and gaps to resolution, as well as partner across channels to implement solutions.
  • Work with our vendors and agencies to develop segmentation that allows us to truly communicate with donors based on their behaviors and motivations to support our mission.
  • Oversee creation and execution of fundraising cultivation, stewardship and engagement communications, as well as direct solicitations.
  • Lead the Program Information Coordinators to develop content that inspires action and change through impactful stories, stats, and photos.
  • Monitor monthly Google AdWords and Microsoft Ads grants – creating and implementing ads, ad copy, and landing pages for brand building, thought leadership, media relations, special events, fundraising, volunteerism, crisis communications, public engagement, and more focusing efforts on highest impact and return on investment.
  • Responsible for performance and direction of staff including program information coordinators, digital fundraising and design coordinators, a digital fundraising and design supervisor, and a fundraising assistant/print shop coordinator.
  • Plan, direct, monitor, and evaluate fundraising targets for the digital and design team, ensuring each staff member is clear about their required work plans, targets, and KPIs.
  • Ensure teams are up to date and comply with fundraising, data protection (GDPR, CANSPAM) and other relevant legislation, standards, and best practice.
  • Develop and manage emails, landing pages, tools and graphics for online fundraising activities, including donation forms, e-commerce store and event management.
  • Implement Peer-to-Peer fundraising initiatives and Giving Day campaigns.
  • Coordinate with other members of the fundraising department on integrated channel fundraising campaigns, ensuring the creation and delivery of strategic support messaging is consistent across all platforms.
  • Work within an existing brand voice, both in visual representation and editorial style, in order to support the consistency of messaging across campaigns and the organization.
  • Develop and test new initiatives and innovative concepts for digital and social fundraising.
  • Manage online communications calendar and oversee the creation, production and delivery of email communications.
  • Oversight of Video Content Creation.
  • Liaise with the Communications team and other third parties on the management of the website, communications, and other areas of public relations to ensure one cohesive voice for PWNA.
  • Serve as digital content manager for all social media channels developing and executing a robust acquisition and engagement strategy.
  • Liaise with external strategy and software partners to manage execution of online fundraising best practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry best-practices and other nonprofits more broadly and in the sector.
  • Oversee and coordinate the design of new and updating of existing direct mail packages for all PWNA brands.
  • Communicate print specifications for new packages and/or changes to existing packages while seeking out and suggesting new creative tests, new packages, or ways to improve existing package performance for Direct Mail.
  • Ensure accuracy of print files, copy, and art components being released into production while reviewing printed material for quality.
  • Provide design services to other areas of the organization as needed – Communications, Programs, Finance, Development, and Operations.
  • Effectively communicate with all departments in the organization to help further streamline branding and messaging across all channels and establish a track record of work that is highly accurate, demonstrates attention to detail, and reflects well on the organization.
  • Contribute to all leadership, strategic, and operational matters as needed and undertake additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Fundraising and Chief Operations Officer.
  • Other duties as assigned by COO/ CEO

Experience/Position Requirements

  • Knowledge of and proven ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
  • Experience with building and maintaining donation forms, surveys, landing pages, newsletters, and other user engagement features, and running reports/interpreting audience analytics.
  • Comfort moving between different departments and bridging different goals/strategies within the organization.
  • Display creativity and initiative; respond quickly to last-minute needs and changing priorities.
  • A team player that is detail-oriented, organized, motivated and creative.
  • Propensity for innovation and the pursuit of improvement.
  • Must have good judgment and the ability to handle confidential matters.
  • PWNA fundraising staff are expected to ethically generate philanthropic support and are expected to abide ethical standards, principles and the Donor Bill of Rights in accordance with the American Association of Fund-Raising Counsel (AAFRC). Violation of the standards, ethics and practices may be subject to disciplinary action, including termination.
  • Expressed desire to learn and familiarize oneself with the issues of Indian Country and the philanthropic landscape of Native American issues.
  • Computer literate with at least 3 years’ experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to create fundraising campaigns (email appeals and direct mail packages) from concept to completed product.
  • Knowledge of direct mail business including postal regulations and all aspects of production for direct mail packages
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design.
  • Knowledge and implementation of Graphic Design principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices in regard to fundraising for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.
  • Experience with Blackbaud products: Luminate and Raiser’s Edge preferred.
  • Remote leadership experience preferred.

Education Background Required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus five plus years of related work in direct response fundraising.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • SEO certification a plus.
  • CFRE Preferred.
