Partnership HealthPlan of California is Hiring an AV Support Specialist Near Fairfield, CA

Overview

The AV Support Specialist will develop and implement solutions that optimize PartnershipHealthPlan’s video collaboration capabilities, while also providing guidance and support to otherteam and staff members. This position will be required to troubleshoot and problem-solvequickly and efficiently. The AV Support Specialist will be an integral part of our IT Operationsteam.

Responsibilities

  • Install (to include design and test), operate, and maintain video conferencing equipment.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of CISCO conferencing and integrated audio and videoinfrastructure equipment. This includes the configuration, operation and management ofusers and devices through Cisco Webex Control Hub. Also in depth knowledge on CiscoTelepresence Devices and Extron Controls and automation.
  • As requested, provide video conferencing event planning consisting of test plans,engineering assessments and recommendations for optimal support of meetings requiringvideo conferencing.
  • Utilize the existing incident management-tracking tool (e.g., ServiceDesk Cloud) for allrelated requests for Video Conferencing and or video conferencing client support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated collaboration and business application incidentspertaining to conference room equipment and video conferencing services.
  • Maintain current knowledge with advancing technologies and provide recommendationsfor new technologies as they emerge.
  • Maintain continuous uninterrupted services by ensuring all conference rooms are fullyfunctional.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Associate or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, orrelated field or related experience preferred. Five (5) or more years’experience in the Audio Visual industry.

Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications

Experience and working knowledge of large conference rooms withintegrated audio / video is a required. Technical understanding of thefull suite of Webex Conferencing products deployed in the Ciscoenvironment is required. Extensive experience with WebEx platform,Cisco Webex Control Hub and an understanding of network security asit applies to video collaboration communications. Must also possess astrong customer service orientation. Experience supporting alternativecollaborative solutions, Microsoft Teams, Zoom is a plus. Familiaritywith Microsoft Windows and Office products in required. Experiencewith Cisco systems installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.Knowledge and experience with computer network configuration.

Performance Based Competencies

Strong verbal and written communication skills are important,responsibilities will include extensive team and customer contact.Ability to quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of new systems andsoftware configuration at PHC. Strong written and oral communicationskills with ability to interpret and understand technical requirements.Excellent technical abilities and experience working with WebEx toolsand technology. Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolvesystems problems. Able to develop procedures to automate jobs and todocument extensively and clearly.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

More than 50% of work time is spent in front of a computer monitor.May be required to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, or work in other nonstanding and non-sitting positions to install cabling, systems hardware,and other related equipment.

HIRING RANGE:

$ 65,516.97 - $ 85,170.87
