General Summary:

The Research Assistant will work with the Principal Investigator, postdoctoral fellows, and other staff to assist with laboratory-based research focused on understanding mechanisms of the pathogenesis of human tumorigenesis.

Principal Responsibilities:

The technician will assist with experiments that will include cell culture, immunoblotting, DNA and RNA analyses, metabolic assays, and animal studies including inoculation of cells and small animal imaging.

Qualifications:

BA or BS in a scientific field. Some prior laboratory experience preferred. Dedication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a highly collaborative and interactive environment.

* Familiarity with microscopy

* Familiarity with basic laboratory protocols
