Partners In Care is Hiring a Caregiver Near Central, OR

Partners In Care is seeking a Caregiver to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families. The Caregiver is a valued team member who works alongside the Home Care Aide, Registered Nurse, or other licensed staff members to provide safe and excellent patient care to hospice or home health patients in their place of residence. 
Compensation: $20-$24 per hour (DOE). 
Location: Central Oregon. 
Schedule: Full-time, Monday- Friday, 8 am-5 pm.
Travel: Local/regional travel by personal vehicle during the working day, centralized from the Bend office and extending throughout Central Oregon. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

What You Get to Do: 
  • Provides patient care alongside licensed staff members in patients' places of residence, including private homes and assisted living facilities. 
  • Takes direction from licensed staff members when providing patient care. 
  • Learns and uses safe lifting and patient mobility techniques for two-person care of patients. 
  • Delivers requested medication and supplies to patients as needed, with documentation in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) if applicable. 
  • Uses agency-supplied technology including computer-based EMR and mobile phone for communication and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications: 
  • At least 18 years of age. 
  • Ideal candidates will possess six months’ employment experience in caregiving in private homes or facilities. 
  • Ability to pass a background test, drug screen, and TB test.
  • Current automobile insurance required. A valid Oregon driver’s license and reliable transportation. 
  • Valid CPR certification or able to obtain within 30 days of hire. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. 
  • Compassion, empathy, and dedication to patient care.
