Projected Hiring Range : Depending on Experience
Closing Date : Open Until Filled Primary Purpose of Position: The purpose of this position is to provide support for Partners’ Marketing and Communications departmental operations and campaigns. This position will be responsible for supporting the business functions of the department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and demonstrate an ability to manage competing tasks, learn quickly and work with minimal supervision. Partners is looking for a creative, organized, self-starter.
Role And Responsibilities
  • Maintain calendars for reporting functions due to the state for both Tailored Plan and NC Medicaid Direct.
  • Oversee and coordinate mail house functions.
  • Assist Operations Manager with invoicing and other business-related functions.
  • Maintain a calendar of assignments for Marketing and Communications staff and track due dates.
  • Assist with and track inventory of collateral, including promotional items in ATP.
  • Engage with other Marketing and Communications, Community Engagement and Member Engagement to creatively raise the organization’s awareness through various events, publications, presentations, and website and social media forums.
  • Establish and maintain a master calendar of community events and sponsorships.
  • Assist in creation, logistics and execution of external and internal events, meetings, presentations, conferences, etc., including Member Café and Community Café.
  • Contribute to and assist with distribution of the organization’s newsletters and other communications to staff, members, providers and the public.
  • Assist with distribution and inventory management of Marketing and Communications’ promotional materials.
  • Order inventory items and office supplies.
  • Manage media subscriptions, including passwords and renewals, and monitor/track media coverage - create tracking reports on a project-by-project basis.
  • Manage software apps including passwords and renewals.
  • Support traffic management for online marketing and communications requests.
  • Oversee traffic to Questions, County and Contact Us mailboxes.
  • Compile reports from emails to Questions, County and Contact Us mailboxes.
  • Assist in management of team Intranet site on SharePoint, including file cleanup and maintenance.
  • Assist with posting to Resource Center
  • Track printed materials and promotional items, including revision schedule.
  • Track items submitted to the state for approval to include website content, printed materials, social media posts and promotional items.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • The employee must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) a must.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Constant Contact and SharePoint is preferred.
  • Experience creating documents, forms, graphs, spreadsheets, etc., is required.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Education/Experience RequiredEducational requirements: Preferred bachelor’s degree in business or communications, OR equivalent work in a related field. Experience in a health care environment and experience working with the public is preferred. Local management entity/managed care organization experience a plus.
