Job Summary: Reporting to the COO, the Production Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for executing the production flow in a dynamic, multi-shift Manufacturing plant.
The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills that foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and cooperation to meet organizational goals. They will be improvement-oriented and have a strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, working knowledge, and an understanding of quality systems, ERP applications, and supervisory best practices.
Duties & Tasks
• Direct priorities and daily activities of assigned personnel through effective communications.
• Create and lead a continuous improvement culture that eliminates waste through robust root cause and corrective action activities.
• Lead innovations to current processes and strive for world-class, industry-leading Manufacturing and processes.
• Manage the objectives and priorities of the manufacturing team. Properly deploy resources to support the production area.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to prevent problems with products and tooling/fixtures.
• Use effective management and communication skills to create a cohesive team to meet objectives.

• Monitor quality and production performance and adjust plans to meet forecast.
• Plan and manage factory equipment and assets to meet production schedules.
• Manage EH&S practices to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Responsible for qualifying direct reports and evaluating training effectiveness, including updating the qualification matrixes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
The Experience: candidates should have 7-10 years of experience in Manufacturing with progressive and upward growth reflected in industrial, metal manufacturing or forming operations, CNC manufacturing operations, or similar. Similarly, familiarity with automotive or military industry quality standards, processes, and expectations is advantageous.

• A BS degree in the Engineering discipline is highly desirable.
