Event Crew / Installer – Parties to Go Event Rentals / Pay Scale $16-19.50/hour

Parties to Go is a woman founded and owned family business that has been helping the Southern Willamette Valley celebrate every occasion for over 40 years! We partner with several area non-profit organizations to help them deliver their services to our community. As the local leader in event production, we are the primary supplier to most local festivals and athletic events. We exist to serve our community and bring joy to every gathering that invites us to be part of their plan.

As a crew member, you will be working in a small team to install and tear down equipment for various events, such as festivals, weddings and fund raisers. You will work with your teammates and lead ensure a smooth and successful event.

To be a successful crew member, you should have experience in a team-based environment, a positive outlook, an eagerness to learn and customer service skills. Prior experience in the event industry is appreciated, but not required. Crew members are expected to execute the safe and quality installation of basic tents, stages, lighting, dancefloors, and other event equipment. Training will be provided. To drive you should have a valid driver’s license and be insurable. As a crew member you maintain a safe, fun, and team-oriented environment. You should possess good communication and problem-solving skills.

Crew Member Responsibilities:

· Assist in develop and motivation of teammates

· Install, set up and tear down various event rental equipment

· Clean and maintain rental equipment

· Pull and put away equipment

· Ensure compliance with fire code, safety standards, and customer expectations

· Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with teammates and clients

· Load, unload, transport, install, and tear down event equipment

· Provide feedback and suggestions to improve quality and efficiency

Crew Member Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Knowledge or ability to learn installation of basic event equipment

· Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs in various conditions

· Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, early mornings, and holidays

· Good customer service and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills

Preferred, but not required

· Forklift certified

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

· Previous experience driving a box truck

· Prior event experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 45 per week
