We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Do you want to be at the forefront of delivering cyber capabilities across the DoD? Parsons is currently seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Model-Based Systems Engineer to join our Digital Engineering Team and to provide direct support to USCYBERCOM at Ft. Meade, MD. You will play a pivot role in the analysis, design, & development of MBSE models for cyber weapon systems. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, documentation, and ongoing support, all aligned to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will perform grassroots requirements determination through interactions with USCYBERCOM and Service Agencies and build models based on those requirements / processes. You must be an expert in these two tools specifically: Cameo (Enterprise Architecture Suite) and Teamwork Cloud. Responsibilities: Providing systems engineering and MBSE thought leadership and expertise to the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of USCYBERCOM’ JCWA. Leading the development and implementation system models to support development and integration of cyber capabilities into the JCWA, as well as the modernization and sustainment of existing systems and capabilities Applying your systems engineering expertise on requirements analysis, concept/technology development, architecture analysis, risk assessments, and test & evaluation for a wide range of offensive and defensive cyber capabilities Delivering formal presentations to members of the technical Staff, customers, service agencies, and supporting contractors, and effectively communicate proposed concepts/solutions and analysis results Developing model profiles, tool plug-ins, architecture frameworks, and model queries in the MBSE tools that capture and analyze models of the systems being developed throughout their lifecycle from concept definition through fielding and support Defining Digital Engineering and model-based design review requirements and update the systems engineering process to utilize advanced MBSE techniques across USCYBERCOM Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, including subsystem designers and service agencies, to integrate models and verify their implementation into the overall system model and architecture Responsible for establishing USCYBERCOM’s modeling approach while aligning to Parsons Digital Engineering Framework (PDEF) and established style guides Requirements: An Active TS/SCI clearance (willingness and ability to obtain polygraph upon hiring). Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field and a minimum 8 years of systems engineering digital engineering experience Experience performing systems engineering in the design, development and/or evaluation of complex systems Experience in system modeling using UML (Unified Modeling Language) and associated modeling software w/ 4 years of experience working in Cameo Systems Modeler Experience using Agile framework development methods and processes Direct experience applying aspects of MBSE in support of system development Broad systems engineering experience including early concept development, requirements analysis, design, test and evaluation, and risk assessment Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong critical thinking skills Willing and able to travel occasionally (10%) to CONUS / OCONUS USCYBERCOM sites Desired: Experience working within USCYBERCOM Advanced degree in systems engineering or Physics Experience in systems engineering for offensive & defensive cyber solutions Experience writing custom scripts and/or plug-ins for MagicDraw modeling software (including its Cameo variants) Experience with UML/SysML, DoDAF, WOSA (Weapon Open System Architecture), MOSA (Modular Open System Approach), or GRA (Government Referenced Architecture) Experience in training other users (modelers and viewers) on Cameo and Teamwork Cloud Experience integrating models across multiple software applications to perform detailed analysis by leveraging data from several engineering domains Broad knowledge of digital engineering processes and tools including Performance-Based Modeling & Simulation Tools Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret SCI This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
