Role: Designs, develops, and tests hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, circuitry, processes, etc. Prepares technical and progress reports on assigned projects. Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports. Responsibilities: • Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts. • Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. • Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions that are highly creative. • Works under consultative direction toward predetermining long-range targets. Provides advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree and typically 5 years of related professional experience. - Experience with RF cascade analysis, RF filter design, Antenna verification and testing, Bench level testing of RF components and systems. -Eligible for security clearance Preferred: -Experience with RF simulation tools such as Microwave Office, Genesys, CST, HFSS, etc would be preferred.
