As a trained and certified Bartender, you will assist in a Food and Beverage capacity in a variety of locations where alcohol is sold. Primary responsibilities include safely and responsibly serving alcoholic beverages, operating registers, preparing and serving food, and keeping an organized and clean work location.

We are currently looking for a:

Idlewild- Bartender

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Greet all guests with a friendly smile and inviting manner!

* Smile and communicate with coworkers and guests

* Help guests by answering questions

* Ring in and properly tender orders into a register

* Operate the Point Of Sales (POS) system following PCI and park guidelines

* Safely serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with all legal regulations and company guidelines

* Prepare food following proper procedure and safety guidelines

* Clean, sanitize, and sweep/mop work areas to include food prep areas, other food contact surfaces, patio/condiment areas, and floors/walkways

* Store and rotate stock and food items within assigned work locations

* Support our park through other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager

* Perform opening and closing procedures related to the assigned Food & Beverage location and as directed by team leads and shift supervisors

* Support our park through other duties as assigned by your manager

* Team member is responsible for providing proper footwear (Non-Slip / Non-Skid)

Education and Experience: No minimum educational requirements

Languages: English

Basic Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years of age on the date of applying

* Must be willing and able to acquire RAMP Alcohol Service Certification upon employment (Training and certification will be provided.)

* Must be able to speak and read the English language

* Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shift

* Must work well with other team members and be able to interact with our guests in a fast paced environment

* Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Idlewild and SoakZone guidelines

Requirements:

* Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

* Must be able to work at least 1 weekend day (Saturday, Sunday) throughout the operational season

* Must be able to work at least three (3) days per week and at least 24 hours per week from June through August (Shifts are available starting in May and continue through October.)

Working Conditions:

* Team Members are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme heat, humidity, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.

* Physical requirements include the ability to stand (for up to five hours at a time), walk long distances within the park, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity; the ability to carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance on a regular basis; and the ability to regularly reach above shoulder level.
