Parliament is a small brewery focused on quality, consistency, and creativity. You will be part of an extremely small production staff and will have a hand in almost all aspects of the brewing process. You will have the opportunity to be a part of the creative process, from testing small adjustments to existing recipes to piloting entirely new recipes.
The most important things are a passion for creating great beer, the ability to follow existing procedures, and the ability to work on a team.
Responsibilities:
-Strict adherence to procedure throughout your work, particularly for safety and sanitation
-Assist in or lead the production process at any and all points
-Clean and sanitize tanks, parts, and other equipment
-Set up, operate, and break down a keg washer
-Maintain general cleanliness and order
-Active engagement, observation, and record-keeping, including reporting to the head brewer
-Professionally represent our brand in public
Qualifications:
-Passion for beer and the brewing process
-Some experience in wine, beer, or spirits production (professional or amateur)
-Basic familiarity with biology, physics, and chemistry
-Excellent communication skills
-Attention to detail and an active eye
-Ability to lift 55lb repeatedly and to move 165lb kegs using a hand truck
-Ability to bend, crouch, climb ladders, and generally work in small spaces
-High physical endurance
-21 years of age or older
Schedule:
For this position, we will need someone who can work weekday mornings.
As a smaller brewery with a limited number of tanks, we are not yet doing multiple turns most days, and we therefore have some flexibility as to the start/end time for this position. We will grant flexibility as often as the production schedule allows.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
