Role Summary: 
The Product Owner will play a key role in our agile product development team, responsible for defining the vision for the product, conveying this vision to the team, and prioritizing the product backlog to align with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user needs, a passion for product development, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations. 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Define and communicate product vision and strategy to all relevant stakeholders and the development team. 
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the team always works on the highest-impact projects. 
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the company to gather and prioritize product and customer requirements. 
  • Serve as the customer advocate, incorporating user feedback and market research into product development. 
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure that product goals are met with each release. 
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success. 
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. 
  • Manage product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities. 
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions that may affect product development priorities. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similarly related field. 
  • 3 (preference to 5 ) years of experience as a Product Owner or having PO duties in an enterprise SaaS product.
  • 4 years of experience within a Healthcare SW/Saas environment. 
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles. 
  • Strong ability to influence the Product Management to Product Owner process (be part of user story development, ask the right questions to the GTM, Marketing, Vision, and Customer Ops team members)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. 
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively while maintaining attention to detail. 
  • Experience with user-centered design and customer feedback tools. 
  • Proficiency in product management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana). 
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Prior success in a remote PO role. 
  • Work must be performed in the United States (ET, CT, MT, PT)
  • You must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States; Parlance will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

  • This role is budgeted at $90K - $110K
