Ways that Parkwood reduces barriers for families include:

  • We accept a variety of insurance panels, including Medicaid and OHP, to reduce financial barriers for families seeking services
  • Currently provide skilled 1:1 service to clients in 5 locations
  • Skilled, HIPAA compliant telehealth

Responsibilities:

The need for high quality speech and language services is continuously growing. We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist who is in love with our company’s purpose and can help us help more kids!

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Produce comprehensive Speech & Language Evaluations to the Parkwood standard of quality
  • Treatment of clients across all ages and abilities continuum
  • Use of Fusion Web Clinic EMR to support the clinical documentation process, including but not limited to:
    • Evaluation writing
    • Goal writing
    • Completing letters of medical necessity
    • Treatment notes (including the use of correct CPT Code(s) & ICD-10(s))
    • Re-evaluations
    • Screenings
    • Signed Mutual Exchanges of Information
    • Correspondence with referring providers/interdisciplinary communication & collaboration
  • Maintain all requirements for ASHA & Oregon Board licensure
  • Maintain CEU credits
    • Feeding/AAC/OMT training preferred

Education:

  • Master's (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Oregon Board License and ASHA CCC-SLP Certification (Required)
  • Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP) also welcome (must have Conditional License)
  • All candidates who have received a written offer of employment will be required to undergo testing and pass a drug screen for commonly abused controlled substances (including marijuana), and consent to a background check. Employment is contingent on these results.
