Description

The Inspection Services Representative is responsible for assisting in assessing, verifying, and documenting the condition of the assigned property. These duties include examining properties, documenting details, and writing reports. An Inspection Services Representative is a highly visible position that has daily contact with residents and employees and requires the utmost awareness of how actions and communications are received and perceived.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following bullets detail the primary functions of this position and its scope of responsibility but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. Individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance workload.   • Property Compliance inspections
  • Property Compliance Violations documentation
  • Reviews and processes modification applications and related paperwork
  • Maintains Modification Records via Excel spreadsheets and Word/PDF documents
  • Investigation and Inspection of community compliance issues
  • Performs Estoppel Inspections
  • Interacts with contractors and unit owners to achieve compliant installations
  • Interacts with Community Service Office personnel on Inspection Services related inquiries
  • May interact with governmental entities periodically (wellness checks, PCSO investigations, etc.)
  • Records, documents, and reconciles company’s fuel management program
  • Fields internal requests for property signage and places orders with vendor(s)
  • Assists in the management of community boat storage area and annual permit processes
  • Works with mechanic’s department on vehicle maintenance reports as directed
  • Paradise Access Barcode sticker issuance as directed

In addition to the responsibilities described above, the role may include such other responsibilities and duties as assigned from time to time, based upon PMMP needs or requirements.

  • Performs other duties, as necessary.
  • Responsible for compliance with company policies and directives.
  • Professional manner, communications, discretion, and appearance are expected.
  • Reports any incident or accident immediately to their supervisor. Inform them of any issues.
  • Punctuality and Attendance are significant job reliabilities.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

  • The majority of work is performed outdoors, in varying heights and regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions. Exposure to elevated temperatures (95 degrees and above), low temperatures (32 degrees and below) and a variety of weather conditions is common.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual will be required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; will regularly be required to stand, walk, and to lift up to twenty-five pounds; and will frequently be required to use hands to, handle, tighten, or feel. Vision requirements are close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications


Qualifications (Education, Experience, Technical Skills)

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience working in a property management environment preferred
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Must be competent in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook

Certifications or Licenses

  • Valid Florida driver’s license with acceptable driving history.
