Summary

Primary duty is to obtain pre-certification and prior authorization as needed for the providers of PPG-MCHA. Communicates with physician offices, patients, nursing staff and ancillary departments regarding scheduled surgeries and documented diagnosis, past testing and any other information needed to obtain approval for procedures. Also to obtain information required to obtain approval for ancillary testing, and medication authorizations and refills.

Education

Graduate of approved LPN program.

Licensure/Certification

Maintain licensure, in good standing, in the state of Ohio.

Experience

Clinical experience in medical office or institution preferred.

Other Qualifications

Must have basic computer knowledge and skill. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, very organized and detail oriented.
