Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with GED. Medical Terminology preferred. If assigned to Whitley or Warsaw CPR is required within 30 days of hire. Prefer two years of clerical experience including proficiency of Microsoft Windows. Requires a minimum of two years customer service. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must attend the required Patient Access Services training class and must pass test upon completion with a score of 90 or better. If the applicant scored between 80-89 on the test they will be able to retake the test once more. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
