Job Summary

• To provide safe and effective nursing care to patients in the acute care setting within the scope of license, while maintaining appropriate staffing levels on all shifts. Coordinates staff continuing education and assists the Director in performing operational management and providing leadership for the department to include: planning, implementation, and organizational oversight of administrative and fiscal matters, personnel, Quality Improvement/PMPI and interdepartmental relations.

Licensure

Current Colorado RN License or Nurse Licensure Compact (Multi State Licensure) required.

Education

Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Experience

• Significant clinical experience in an acute care setting required. Supervisory experience preferred.
• If the job requires driving for Parkview, the employee must have a current Colorado driver’s license, may need to be 21, and may need to submit proof of insurance coverage.
