ParkTree Community Health Center is Hiring a Dentist Near Ontario, CA

Opportunity for Dentist, Full-Time (32 hours per week, M-Th) – Ontario (Sultana location)

Parktree Community Health Center provides comprehensive and integrative medical, dental, and behavioral health services to the local community in the Pomona and Ontario areas.

We are looking for an energetic, professional Full-Time Temporary Staff Dentist to join our team.

Hours would be Mondays and Wednesdays 8am-4:30pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:30pm-9pm.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provision of routine and emergency dental services including:
  • Diagnosis and treatment planning, Intraoral and Extraoral evaluations
  • General restorative care, Crowns and Removable Prosthetics
  • Uncomplicated Endodontic procedures, Minor oral surgery Administration and prescribing of anesthetics, medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate
  • Patient engagement and education
  • Supervision of Dental Assistants and other staff, as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned to achieve organizational goals and program objectives

Basic qualifications:

  • Current, valid, and unrestricted California Dental License
  • Current DEA license and CPR Certification
  • Graduation from and American Dental Association (ADA) approved dental school with DDS or DMD degree
  • Experience and comfort in treating patients of all ages (children and adults)
  • Experience working and a Federally Qualified Health Center or Community Health Center—(Preferred)
  • Must be able to interact with people of various socioeconomic statuses and have the ability to address sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish—Preferred)
  • Experience in use of electronic dental record—(Preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a team collaborative setting
