We are seeking a dedicated traveling Medication Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the administration of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the nurse supervisor.

Responsibilities:

- Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain related medical records
- Assist residents with self-administration of medications
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report any concerns to the nursing staff
- Provide direct patient care and support as needed
- Follow all facility policies and procedures regarding medication administration
- Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and work area

Qualifications:

- Must be willing to work between all 4 buildings during the week to maintain a full-time position.

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Certification as a Medication Aide required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude towards patient care
- Understanding of senior care principles and practices

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in senior care or home care settings
- Basic knowledge of physiology and caregiving techniques

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
