EVS Coordinator

Responsible for developing, implementing, conducting and evaluating environmental services protocols, orientation and continuing education for EVS technicians. Serves on special committees and assists where needed. Cleans all areas of the facility according to policies and procedures. Maintains quality standards of infection control in the facility. Participates in performance improvement activities.

• Coordinates the schedules of EVS personnel to assure the facility is covered.
• Participates in hiring and evaluating EVS personnel.
• Is responsible for ordering and maintaining all needed EVS supplies though the purchasing department.
• Is responsible to present all chemical changes and SDS sheets through Infection Control Committee.
• Responsible to develop and maintain deep cleaning schedules for the facility.
• Preforms regular rounding on all areas to survey and assure EVS is completing tasks. Meeting with area Directors for feedback.
• Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department.

EVS Coordinator

• High School Graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED).
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Supervisory Experience is preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English; both verbally and in writing.
