Parks Buick GMC is Hiring a Collision Technician Near Greenville, SC

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform work as outlined on repair orders and meet deadlines
  • Conduct parts inventory for collision repairs to ensure accuracy
  • Weld metals, repair metal and plastic components
  • Remove damaged fenders and panels
  • Straighten frames
  • Grind, sand and file repaired surfaces
  • Repair or replace defective mechanical parts
  • Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenance
  • Keep shop area clean and organized
  • Do light painting if deemed qualified and necessary by the Manager
  • Other duties may be assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Previous Body Shop/Collision Repair experience required
  • I-CAR and ASE Certifications are a plus!
  • Working knowledge of body shop equipment and tools including frame and measuring equipment
  • Basic mechanical understanding of automobiles
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Dependable attendance
  • A positive attitude and good work ethic
  • Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen
