We are looking for a full or part-time (long-term) Optician & Sales/Customer Service team member who is dedicated, reliable and willing to learn.

Strongly Preferred but not required skills and experiences include the following:

• Assist patients in eyewear selections.
• Analyze and interpret prescriptions written by Ophthalmologists and Optometrists.
• Fix, adjust, and refit broken frames.
• Knowledge within the eyewear industry including basic eye anatomy
• Comfort with billing and interpreting insurance plans
• Generate sales of eyeglasses and accessories.
• Experience setting appointments and serving customers
• Educate patients on products and services that are available. (lenses, frames, etc.)

Schedule:

• Mon: 9am-3pm
• Tues: 9am-5pm
• Wed: 9am-5pm
• Thurs: 9am-5pm
• Fri: 9am-5pm
• Sat: 9am-5pm
• Sun: Closed

Experience:

• Optical Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Bilingual a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $25.00 per hour
