Position Overview

The Bill of Material Writer is responsible for reviewing customer drawings, writing, and checking bill of materials, laying out special part drawings and doing sketches of both buildings and parts.

Job Functions

• Read construction drawings, visualize and convey construction process.
• Trouble shoot construction issues and make corrections.
• Enter bill of materials in Syteline and/or Skynet.
• Issue and submit drawings to Production Control for processing.

• Dependability – good work ethic; uses discretion, takes initiative and works independently to get the job completed
• Microsoft Office – must have basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Basic computer skills are required
