Position Title: IT Support Analyst

Location: Denver, CO (travel may be required at times to support home, company sites, other Parkland USA ROCs (Regional Operating Centers) or acquisition

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accomplishes IT ROC objectives by working with ROC IT Manager in executing department support initiatives; contributing to and supporting strategic opportunities; participates/takes the lead in Corporate and ROC projects; contributes to the effectiveness and efficiencies of the organization.
  • Additional to the ROC responsibilities, the IT Support Analyst may also have national responsibilities related to a specific area of IT and will also collaborate with other team members that have national responsibilities.

People Management

  • Accomplishes information technology staff results by: communicating, planning, executing, and providing great customer service. Coordinates with other operational teams and enforces system policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by contributing to, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
  • Participates in projects, including acquisition integrations, by coordinating resources and timetables to meet the demands of the Project vs Operations
  • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
  • Collaborates with corporate IT to establish and report level of service for the delivery of core IT services including long-term trend analysis within the ROC
  • Works with corporate IT to contribute to the development and maintenance of a disaster recovery plan in support of the overall business continuity strategy
  • Contributes to annual IT budget planning and tracks spend

Technical Support Escalation

  • In partnership with corporate IT and team members with national oversight, responsible for maintaining high availability and quality of service for the IT infrastructure and applications pertinent to the ROC
  • Escalation point for any major incidents pertaining to IT infrastructure or supported applications within the ROC
  • Responsible for adhering to Change Management policies and procedures
  • Contributes to cross ROC team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

National or Centralized Responsibilities (if applicable)

  • Has responsibility and ensures that standards are maintained across ROC and supported systems
  • The primary liaison to ROC IT Manager for area of responsibility
  • An escalation point for problems for area of responsibility, may take a lead role in organizing and monitoring the diagnosing team

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business/Computer Sciences (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years technology experience in a large enterprise infrastructure environment
  • Knowledge of the functions, operation and mission of the specific department
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and team-oriented skills
  • General knowledge of Parkland’s Employee Policies and Practices
  • Evidence of the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality
